Examinations are done by appointment Monday thru Friday and routine vaccinations/exams on Saturday.
Surgery
Surgeries are performed in our fully equipped surgical suite Monday thru Friday. We routinely perform a wide range of procedures including: orthopedics, soft tissue, ophthalmic, and cancer surgery among others.
Dentistry
Techniques in veterinary dentistry have advanced tremendously in recent years. We are pleased to be able to offer current comprehensive dental care to our patients. State of the art equipment including dental radiography, enables us to keep our patient’s mouths clean and comfortable.
Radiographs
Digital Processing, a new technology, takes radiographs of your pet with quicker results and better imaging. We offer this service in house for our small animal patients, and have a portable unit allowing us to take images of large animal patients during farm calls. We also offer hip quality testing with OFA and Penn Hip. Dr. Fairman is our certified Penn Hip vet.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is now available in addition to our other diagnostic equipment. Some common uses include: guided biopsies, obtaining urine samples, pregnancy confirmation, and as an aid in the diagnostic process.
Endoscopy
Flexible and rigid endoscopy is now available for diagnostic procedures. This includes Gastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, and otoscopy. These procedures allow for non-invasive diagnosis of certain gastrointestinal, urinary tract, and upper respiratory diseases as well as treatment such as removal of foreign bodies, ear cleanings, and myringotomies.
Laboratory
At our facility, we have a full in house laboratory. This gives us the ability to run tests with quick, accurate results. Some of our tests include: heartworm/lyme tests, feline leukemia/FIV combination tests, thyroid testing/monitoring, fecals, urinalysis, and full blood panels used for assessing health of geriatric, sick, or pre-surgical patients. We also work closely with referral labs when additional tests are necessary.
Pharmacy
We carry a wide range of medications for both small and large animals in our fully stocked pharmacy. This also includes shampoos, flea/tick medications, heartworm prevention, and prescription diets.
Microchipping
We offer and recommend microchipping as a great alternative to permanently identify your pet. One in three pets will be lost during its lifetime. The microchipping procedure can be performed at any time including during an office visit. The microchips currently used at Kingdom Animal Hospital are the Home Again brand. Grooming
Grooming is available for dogs and cats by appointment only. This service is also available for our boarding pets.
Net-Working
The doctors are very committed to net-working and referrals to many different specialists for consulting on all types of problems, including radiographs, ultrasounds, internal medicine, cancer patients and more.
